BUSINESS CONTINUITY POLICY

J Logistics Pte Ltd is committed to minimize the contingency risk of our logistics and warehousing services during threatening events, and ensure that our level of organizational resilience will continue to meet the needs of our Company and our obligations to our customers and other relevant interested parties. 

With this, we aim to implement and maintain a Business Continuity Management System that will enable us to be systematically prepared for disruptions, react appropriately and maintain our operability.

To demonstrate our commitment to business continuity, we shall ensure:

    • The systematic, repeated planning process to identify contingency risks and activities critical to continuity;
    • Clearly structured strategies and solutions are maintained so they can be activated when needed;
    • Resources are sufficient, protected, and mirrored as much as practically possible;
    • Business continuity plans, procedures and response structure are available to manage the organization during a disruption;
    • A programme of exercising and testing is implemented to validate over time the effectiveness of business continuity strategies, solutions and continuity plans;
    • A programme of training and communication is put in place to ensure understanding of strategies, solutions, business continuity plans, procedures, and roles and responsibilities before, during and after disruptions;
    • Statutory and regulatory responsibilities, and contractual obligations are met, and accepted best practices are adhered to; and
    • Continual improvement of Business Continuity Management System and business continuity performance through periodic reviews and audits.

This policy will be reviewed for continuing suitability at least annually and when significant changes occur, communicated to all employees, and made available to interested parties as appropriate.
