SECURITY POLICY STATEMENT

J LOGISTICS PTE LTD is committed to protecting the company’s employees, properties, information, reputation and customer’s assets from potential threats in the supply chain. This policy is guided by the company’s basic core values, code of conduct, business ethics and supply chain security standards, and it fashions the way we operate throughout the supply chain. 

All security activities must adhere to the general principles laid down below:

    • All employees and contractors must always be aware of and take responsibility for the security aspects of the company’s business activities;
    • Security procedures and guidelines should be seamlessly integrated with business activities;
    • “Incident prevention” must be the first priority;
    • Security measures and procedures must be subject to regular inspections, validations and verifications;
    • Appropriate training plans, screening, recruitment, contracting and termination procedures must be established and implemented;
    • All incidents, including security breaches and irregularities must be reported and recorded. 

J LOGISTICS PTE LTD is committed to maintain and improve information security within the Company and minimizing the company’s and it’s customer’s exposure to risk. 

It is therefore Company policy that:

    • The confidentiality of company and customer information will be assured;
    • Sensitive information (however stored) will be protected against unauthorized access;
    • The integrity of information will be maintained;
    • Information will be made available to authorized business process, employees or customer when required;
    • Regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements will be met;
    • Information Security training will be made available to all staff.

J LOGISTICS PTE LTD is committed to protect the company’s employees, assets, and information from potential terrorist threats. In support of the SGSecure movement, we shall play our part to sensitize, train and mobilize our employees to prevent and deal with a terrorist attack. 

To support this commitment, we will strive to:

    • Comply with all applicable workplace safety and health legislative and regulatory requirements, industry standards, codes of practice and SGSecure.
    • Eliminate and minimize safety and health risks, and terror threats to our staff and the public by ensuring control measures are in place. 
    • Work with contractors and suppliers to embrace the SGSecure movement.
    • Value the safety and security of our employees, visitors and customers and are committed to mitigate risks, including those posed by terrorism, by preparing our employees and protecting our workplace. 
    • Equip the workforce with the necessary knowledge by providing training, awareness and effective communication. 
    • Review our performance and take actions for continual improvement.

This policy shall be reviewed, and if necessary revised, annually to keep up to date.
